SXSW Jury Award Winner - Excellence in Title Design
From conception to completion, the creation of this main title was a perfect storm of talented designers and collaboration from the show runners.
The concept evolved from how much planning went into not only the development of the atom bomb, but the town of Los Alamos where it was conceived. Ironies arose as we began to compare the rituals of the american family coupled with the creation of a weapon of mass destruction. Leveraging these ironies, the resulting sequence is careful and understated, speaking to a world of secrets barely hidden beneath the mundane details of everyday life.

Manhattan Season II Promo
The success of the main title led to this live action and vfx driven promo for Manhattan’s second season. I directed the cast and vfx. Key Art, Promotional videos & a virtual billboard for NYC's Herald SQ supported the campaign. The campaign explores the fraying lives and lies surrounding the main characters in a shattering series of images which mirror the characters journey towards the first atomic bomb.

In honor of RemembranceDay, also known as Poppy Day in the UK, I worked with AMV BBDO to promote the 2014 Poppy Appealwith Sainsbury’s. Once the perfect grandfather and grandson were cast, I had my team create painterly illustrations of the duo, and then brought the scenes to life with frame-by-frame cel animation. It was a unique visual approach we hoped would commemorate and honor Sainsbury’s twenty year-long support of The Royal British Poppy Legion.

This series of spots for IBM was co-directed by myself and Ronnie Koff. The objective was to further develop the character of the supercomputer known as Watson. Remember, the cognitive computer that beat the guy on Jeopardy? That’s the Watson I’m talking about. During a six week marathon of design, animation and compositing, we completed eight 15 second spots that illustrated the usage of Watson across multiple industries from Healthcare to Finance to Customer Service.
